OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Olympic National Park rangers were searching Lake Crescent for a missing kayaker after an overturned kayak was reported early Friday afternoon at Log Cabin Resort, according to Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue, which also was called to the scene.
Divers were searching the lake, it was reported.
Fire Chief Jake Patterson of Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue said park service personnel were still on the scene at about 5 p.m.
The Olympic National Park spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
