SEATTLE — A Kenmore Air Cessna had a bit of a bumpy landing today after a tire blew upon touchdown at Boeing Field.
The Caravan was inbound from Port Angeles at 6:45 a.m. with nine passengers and two pilots on board, said airline spokesman Tim Brookes.
When the plane touched down, the pilot noticed the plane “pulled to the right” and stopped on the plane on the runway.
Two vans were brought to the runway to let everyone off after about a 10 minute wait on the plane. They were put on buses to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to make their connections as originally planned.
Brookes says the tire was all the way down to the rims, so they had to change the tire before they could tow the plane off the runway.
No one was hurt.
