PORT TOWNSEND — Complete with a performance of “Zombie Town,” finger desserts and cocktails, Key City Public Theatre will host a Halloween costume party at the Old Consulate Inn this Thursday night.
The pre-show party will get started at 5:45 p.m. with food and drink.
Then come the zombies: the Key City play, “Zombie Town,” at 7 p.m. In this satire, also on stage at the Key City Playhouse through Nov. 2, a San Francisco-based documentary theater troupe visits a small Texas town right after a zombie attack.
There, the troupe seeks to apply “the transformative, healing power of theater.”
Tickets for Thursday’s Halloween bash at the Old Consulate are $50 a head, including the show, lavish hors d’oeuvres and two drinks per person.
Costumes are highly encouraged since prizes are to be bestowed upon the best zombie, best duo and best individual getup.
If any are left, tickets may be available on Halloween night at the Old Consulate, at 313 Walker St., but since this event sold out last year, party-goers are advised to purchase in advance.
