WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer tested positive for COVID-19.
Kilmer, a Democrat who lives in Gig Harbor, represents the 6th Congressional District, which includes the North Olympic Peninsula.
He said he tested positive last Wednesday and was asymptomatic.
“I am grateful to be fully vaccinated and boosted, ” he said then.
“I will follow CDC guidance and isolate for the next several days. My office will remain fully operational, and I will continue working virtually on behalf of the folks I represent.”
Since then, he has been working at home, said spokesperson Andrew Wright on Monday.
