The Port Townsend High School girls basketball team fell 59-38 to second-ranked Chelan late Wednesday in a first-round game at the state 2A tournament in the Yakima SunDome.
Nettie Witheridge led the Redskins with 14 points. Lexi Paoli added seven points and seven rebounds; and Lissy Corra had six points.
Port Townsend plays again today at 2 p.m. against Hoquiam, a 44-43 loser to Blaine in the first round.
