IT’S FAIR TIME in Clallam County this weekend.
Starting tonight through Sunday, you’ll find plenty of live, local music to enjoy, both at the fair and around the area.
Port Angeles
■ Today at Castaways Restaurant and Night Club, 1213 Marine Drive, it’s Jerry’s country jam with guest singers Rusty and Duke from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Friday, Dee Coburn and the Night Beats bring their oldies, country and rock ’n’ roll beats for dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight.
■ Today at The Dam Bar, junction of U.S. Highway 101 and state Highway 112, Chip Norris hosts the jam session from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
■ Today at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Good Machine has a blend of folk, bluegrass and old-time influences — upbeat and boisterous Americana — from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Family-oriented and free.
■ Today at Bar N9ne, 229 W. First St., the open-mic variety show begins at 9 p.m.
On Friday, The 4th Street Cats play from 9 p.m. to midnight.
■ On Saturday at Front Street Alibi, 1605 E. Front St. Crossfire plays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. following the fourth Badger Run, a benefit for the Peninsula Humane Society.
Cover of $5, free for runners. Ticket includes a door prize ticket and burgers while they last.
■ On Friday at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 W. U.S. Highway 101, there’s a jam session from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the Serendipity Band with special guests Hattie Buckman, Vienna Barron and Gary Prosser until 8 p.m.
■ On Tuesdays at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Wally’s Boys play ballroom dance favorites from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $5 cover; first-timers free.

■ Today, the Port Townsend Concerts on the Dock brings Ko Ko Jo to Pope Marine Plaza in downtown Port Townsend. The group brings Seattle rock from the South Sound music scene. The party starts at 4:30 p.m., with music from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Free.
Attendees can bring picnics or find food to-go at local businesses.
A beer, wine and cider garden will be available.
■ On Friday at Key City Cabaret, 419 Washington St., Port Townsend, showcases Rattletrap Ruckus, a Bellingham band with local roots and an entertaining musical style that spans ragtime to klezmer, paso doble, polka, tango and beyond, at 8 p.m.

■ On Saturday, the Port Townsend Main Street’s 24th annual Uptown Street Fair & Parade on Tyler Street is a day of music, food and fun.

■ On Saturday at the Quimper Grange,1219 Corona St., Port Townsend, Amy Carroll calls the contra dance while Kristin & Otto Smith play.

■ On Tuesday, the Sequim Music in the Park will feature Twisted Roots playing blues and Western swing starting at 6 p.m. in Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave., with free fun for all.
■ On Wednesday, the Porto Alegre band plays Latin and swing music for Concerts on the Pier in Port Angeles from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In the event of rain, the performance will be at The Gateway plaza, corner of Lincoln and Front streets.
