PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles is accepting applications from area women for its annual Live Your Dream Award with a deadline of Sunday, Nov. 15.
The award of $1,000-2,000 can be used for tuition, child care, transportation, textbooks and bills in order to pursue educational goals.
Applicants must have financial need, have primary financial responsibility for supporting the family, have at least a 2.5 grade-point average and attend or be accepted into an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program.
