NEAH BAY — Tinker Lucas recently completed emergency response training at the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, Ala.
Lucas is the emergency management coordinator for the Makah Tribe.
The emergency response course develops the skills needed to safely support mass casualty operations.
The center, which is operated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, provides all-hazards training to more than 50,000 emergency responders annually.
