PORT HADLOCK — The Kathleen Sutton Fund will host its third spring educational luncheon at noon May 11.
The annual fundraiser will be at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road.
The fund, which started in 2003, provides assistance with transportation costs for women with breast cancer and living in Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap and Mason counties.
Tickets are $35 per person, $420 for a table of 12, and are available online at www.tinyurl.com/e4smtv6p.
Speakers will share firsthand stories about the difference that reimbursement for transportation costs makes to women and their families, traveling to receive life-saving cancer treatments.
Since its inception, the fund has helped more than 1,700 women with more than $1 million in transportation expenses.
