FORKS – The part of the mysterious Forks vampire Edward now has a face for the upcoming movie “Twilight,” which will have some scenes shot in Forks.
Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series of films, will play the handsome and enigmatic vampire.
The film, made by Summit Entertainment, will be based on the first of a series of books by Stephenie Meyer.
In “Twilight,” 17-year-old Bella Swan moves to Forks to live with her dad, who is chief of police.
There she meets the pale and ambiguous Edward who she later discovers is a vampire.
Despite his bloodsucking urges – which he and his family suppress in favor of pigs’ blood – he and Bella are drawn to each other.
Romance and adventure ensue.
