BLYN — A 67-year-old man was flown to an Everett hospital after the car he was driving left the road and went down an embankment following a medical emergency.
Joseph P. Rowson of Sequim was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 101 at Blyn Road about 1:24 p.m. Sunday in a 2014 Chevy Silverado, the State Patrol said.
He suffered a medical emergency, left the roadway to the left shoulder and went down an embankment, the State Patrol said.
Rowson, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown to Providence Regional Medical Center, according to the State Patrol.
The pickup was totally destroyed.
