PORT ANGELES — The body of a young man was found in a temporary bathroom at The Gateway transit center in Port Angeles on Thursday.
Port Angeles Police Chief Brian Smith said the body was found inside the temporary bathroom at about 9:55 a.m.
He said it appeared the body had been there for a while and there were signs that the man likely had overdosed.
By the end of the day, police had been unable to contact next of kin and so did not release the man’s name.
Police were reviewing security camera footage from the transit center and conducting a full investigation.
