PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles police found a man with a laceration on his leg after a stabbing was reported on the 200 block of South Peabody Street on Saturday afternoon.
The man declined treatment by medics and was uncooperative with police, Sgt. Josh Powless said.
“He was uncooperative with us and wouldn’t tell what happened or who did it,” he said.
“If the victim isn’t willing to help us out, it’s hard to help them.”
Police contacted a person of interest who matched the description of a person seen leaving the area, but that person didn’t have a knife or anything else sharp that could be used in a stabbing, Powless said.
