OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — A man who was pulled out of the waters of Lake Crescent near Fairholme late Saturday afternoon has died, officials said Sunday.
Assistant Fire Chief Jake Patterson of Clallam County Fire District 2 said bystanders pulled the man out of the water before responders arrived, but the man did not survive.
Responders provided CPR as he was transported to Olympic Medical Center at about 5 p.m. Saturday.
Patterson said he did not have any identifying information for the man. More information on the incident was not available Sunday.
Patterson said Olympic National Park, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, Port Angeles Fire Department and Clallam County Fire District 1 also responded.
