PORT ANGELES — Lakeside Industries will continue the Marine Drive overlay project on Monday.
This work will include asphalt paving of Marine Drive from Tumwater Truck Route to Hill Street in order to correct surface conditions resulting from the construction of the Pump Station 3 Force Main last year.
The project also includes replacing existing sidewalk curb ramps to ensure ADA compliance. That work is now complete.
Pavement milling on Marine Drive is scheduled to continue through Wednesday. Asphalt paving will begin July 8 and continue through July 10.
The typical project working hours will be from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction, residents and visitors should expect: one-way traffic on Marine Drive, minor traffic delays and increased commute times, installation of temporary traffic signs, message boards and other safety equipment.
