A meeting to discuss a food enterprise center that could boost agriculture and food entrepreneurship on the North Olympic Peninsula is scheduled at 4 p.m. today at the Jamestown S”Klallam tribal center in Blyn.
Clallam County Economic Development Council officials have been considering the food center idea for some time.
It would include a commercial kitchen, training rooms and storage space and would be available to farmers, ranchers, caterers, bakers, chefs and others who can make good use of a professional kitchen/processing facility but don’t have businesses large enough to warrant building one on their own.
