QUILCENE — Jefferson County deputies and other law enforcement officers are searching today for a missing 77-year old Kitsap County man whose car was found near Quilcene.
Cecil Mann, who was presumed to be on a fishing trip, was reported missing Saturday by his family.
A triangulation of Mann’s cell phone use indicated that Mann was last in the Quilcene area and his vehicle was discovered off of the Tunnel Creek Trail on Tuesday, Jefferson County Sheriff Tony Hernandez said.
About 50 searchers from several agencies, including Kitsap Search and Rescue and the Border Patrol, are now involved in the search, Hernandez said.
