SEATTLE — The Spokane woman who left her car on a ferry in Seattle and disappeared was found hitchhiking at Lake Forest Park, north of Seattle.
The State Patrol says a police officer reunited Amy Story early today with family members who were staying at a motel in the area.
Family members have said the 27-year-old may not have taken medication for a bipolar condition.
She left her car on a ferry that arrived in Seattle on Monday from Bainbridge Island. She had been visiting relatives in Sequim.
The abandoned car led the Coast Guard — including a helicopter crew from Port Angeles — and others to search Puget Sound.
Security video later showed she walked off the ferry.
