The National Weather Service today indicated that the unusual lightning over and around the North Olympic Peninsula the past two nights has run its course locally.
While thunderstorms are still forecast for other parts of Western Washington, only a chance of showers is forecast into Monday afternoon, the Weather Service said today.
But the fascination over the sky show provided the Peninsula the past two nights continue. Here is a video made by the PDN’s Keith Thorpe from early Friday, plus a gallery sent by readers from throughout the North Olympic Peninsula.
