PORT ANGELES — The ninth annual Olympic Peninsula Senior Games have broken the 500-participant mark, with more sign-ups possible today as events continue.
Deana Volker, registrar for the Senior Games, said 513 participants had signed up as of Saturday afternoon.
The most popular events by far have been pickleball and softball, Volker said.
People can still sign up to compete today in some events, such as track and field at the community track just south of Port Angeles High School and for indoor rowing at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., Volker said.
More information can be found at the senior center — or by visiting www.olympicpeninsulaseniorgames.com.
