PORT ANGELES — Jody Moss had a word deleted from her title as interim executive director of United Way of Clallam County on Wednesday.
Interim got the ax.
Stephen Moriarty, a Port Angeles attorney and president of the United Way of Clallam County board of directors, said that Moss, who has served as interim executive director since November, will become the agency’s official executive director.
“We are very excited about working with Jody,” Moriarty said in a press release.
Moss said her salary as head of the agency is currently being negotiated.
“She has been an outstanding member of the United Way community for many years,” Moriarty said.
“As interim director, she has been extremely successful working with campaign volunteers as well as running the organization in a smooth and efficient manner.
“Jody is truly dedicated to working with the partner agencies, the United Way volunteers and the United Way board to help improve the lives of the citizens of Clallam County.”
Moss, 52, has been involved with the United Way of Clallam County for eight years, serving as a volunteer beginning in 1998, project coordinator for the Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics Clinic and most recently as the Healthy Communities coordinator.
