Motel guest’s fatal fall ruled an accident

PORT ANGELES — The death of Mark Hara, a Moses Lake resident who fell from a third-floor motel window early Saturday, is being treated as an accident.

Detective Sgt. Steve Coyle of the Port Angeles Police Department said Monday there was no evidence of foul play or suicide.

An exact cause of death will not be determined until results of an autopsy are complete in several weeks. The autopsy was performed Monday.

Hara died at the Flagstone Motel, 415 E. First St., where police were summoned at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
