SHINE — A Poulsbo man was in serious condition Monday morning after he was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following a collision on his motorcycle.
The Sunday morning crash was at Paradise Bay Road and state Highway 104, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.
A 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by Randy J. McGahan, 68, of Port Ludlow was turning eastbound onto Highway 104 from Paradise Bay Road about 9:25 a.m. Sunday when it struck a 1999 Yamaha XVS1100 motorcycle being driven by Jeremy J. Larose, 46, of Poulsbo, the memo stated.
Larose was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was wearing a helmet. His motorcycle was destroyed.
McGahan wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. He was cited for failure to yield. His pickup truck sustained reportable damage.
