TRITON — A San Antonio man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after the motorcycle he was riding ran into the back of a car slowing to turn right at milepost 314 north of Triton Cove State Park on U.S. Highway 101, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Eric M. Mack, 39, was riding his 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 northbound on Highway 101 shortly after 3 p.m. Monday, the State Patrol said.
A 2010 Honda Accord driven by Xiang Ran, 40, of Redmond had slowed to turn right into a parking lot.
The motorcycle struck the rear of the Accord, ejecting Mack, the State Patrol said.
Mack was wearing a helmet.

Ran was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.
The motorcycle was destroyed and the Accord sustained reportable damage, the State Patrol said.
Drugs are alcohol were not factors, the State Patrol said.
