PORT ANGELES — Necessities and Temptations, 217 N. Laurel St., is holding a “Sweet 16” party to celebrate its 16 years in business as a gift and department store.
The party — offering coffee and punch, birthday cake and cookies — takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.
The celebration also will feature special $16 sales items, $16 off other items, free grab bags with every purchase and every 16th customer receives $16 to spend in the store Friday.
There is also a drawing for a $160 prize.
Another game at the store, said owner Edna Petersen, is that pictures of her dog, Preston, will be sprinkled around the store.
“Find a picture, and you win a prize,” Petersen said.
