PORT TOWNSEND — Morgan Hanna has been named executive director of Olympic Angels.
Hanna, the nonprofit’s founder, has also served as a guardian as litem for children in foster care and co-founded Foster Supports of Jefferson County.
Olympic Angels helps foster children, and their caregivers, by providing a small group of community volunteers to work consistently with one family to mimic other family roles, such as grandparents, aunts or uncles.
Olympic Angels, formed in 2020, is one of 21 Angels chapters nationally.
The nonprofit currently has nearly 200 volunteers supporting foster children in Clallam and Jefferson counties.
