The Peninsula College welding program has fabricated a new gate for the Captain Joseph House in Port Angeles.
The gate features a triangular representation of the folded flag presented to the families of fallen soldiers which was fabricated by Lincoln Industrial.
The welding students ground the flag to create a wave-like appearance, then painted one of the stars gold, in honor of the Gold Star families the Captain Joseph House is expected to host.
