OLYMPIA — The Washington State Patrol has announced the graduation of 43 new state troopers from the 117th Trooper Basic Training Class at a ceremony in the Capitol rotunda.
Cadets complete more than 1,400 hours of training at the 21-week program at the State Patrol Academy in Shelton.
Trooper Daniel J. Menihane Jr. will be assigned to the Port Angeles barracks.
Trooper Menihane received the Top Control Tactics award for the class.
