Container gardens

Both classes are set to begin at 6 p.m. at the libraries in Sequim at 630 N. Sequim Ave.; and Port Angeles, 2210 S. Peabody St.
Attendees can sip tea while designing and planting a container garden with library and Washington State University Extension staff.
Extension staff will provide information about how to manage waste reduction with composting, propagate house plants, plant seeds, and create new containers from items around the house.
Ways to reuse old books with simple paper crafts will also be explored.
These workshops are appropriate for all ages, though youth should be accompanied by an adult, event organizers said.
