PORT ANGELES — Clallam County churches are joining together to present “One Voice: Big Church Night Out” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.
The musical fundraiser will be held in the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave.
Admission is by donation, proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County’s Faith House.
Performers will include a faith band and a choir composed of members of from several local churches, vocalists Amanda Bacon and Ava Peterson,piano duets by Anna Nichols and Penny Hall and a choir-led sing-a-long. Nichols is observing her 83rd birthday at the concert.
Church concert
SEQUIM — Vince Redhouse will perform on the Native American flute and tenor saxophone this Sunday.
Redhouse will perform at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.
The concert is free, an offering will be taken. He will also perform during the church’s the 10 a.m. service.
According to a press release, Redhouse is a former jazz tenor sax soloist with the U.S. Air Force band and received the 2017 National Jazz Hero Award.
Unity speaker
PORT ANGELES — The Rev. Asha Burson will present “Creativity” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Burson will be the guest speaker at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle Ave.
She has been the spiritual director for the Center for Spiritual Living in Port Angeles since 2016.
Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. Child care is available.

Block party
PORT ANGELES — Lighthouse Christian Center will host a summer block party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The party will be held at the center, 304 Viewcrest Ave.
Participants at the free, family-friendly celebration can enjoy an inflatable slide, a bounce house, an obstacle course, BBQ, snow cones and face painting.

Call for singers
SEQUIM — The Sequim Community Christmas Choir invites singers of all ranges and ability to join in its 35th season.
The concerts, set for Dec. 6-8, will feature sacred Christmas music.
Louise Pluymen will direct the chorus and pianist Kayla (Dyment) Layer will provide accompaniment. The first rehearsal will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10; no auditions are required.
Subsequent rehearsals will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 17 through Dec. 3.
