PORT TOWNSEND — The Quimper Grange, 1219 Corona St., will host a community game night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.
Games include Farkel, dominoes, Trouble, Sequence and games participants bring.
There is a suggested donation of $1 to $5 to help maintain the hall.
Child care is provided for game-playing-age kids as long as their parents or guardians are on-site.

SEQUIM — The Dungeness Bonsai Society will host arborist Joshua Dullen at the Pioneer Park clubhouse, 387 E. Washington St., at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Dullen is certified as an arborist by the International Society of Arborculture.
He will address the principles of tree physiology, offer a discussion about do-it-yourself pruning and discuss the cues to look for and the questions to ask when hiring a professional for larger jobs.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be served.
Apple roundtable
SEQUIM — The Strait Macintosh User group will host a roundtable event at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Four local Apple experts will show participant tips, tricks and good practices on the full range of Apple products in addition to answering questions.
The public is welcome and refreshments will be served.
Meditation set on lawn
PORT ANGELES — Jikyo Wolfer will present an introductory session to meditation at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The program is free and will take place on the lawn outside the main entrance to the library.
In the event of inclement weather, the session will take place inside the Raymond Carver Room.
Participants can bring a yoga mat or beach towel.
Wolfer is a Soto Zen Buddhist priest and Dharma teacher at Joyous Refuge in Port Angeles who began her meditation practice in 1987. She holds a master’s in counseling psychology from St. Martin’s University, Lacey.
