The starting line for the 10K is at the Buchanan Road/Deer Park Loop in Port Angeles.

The 5K begins at City Pier in Port Angeles.

All races end at City Pier.

The finish line is the best place for spectator viewing.

Finishers of the 5K and 10K will cross the finish line between 9:15 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The first half-marathon runner is expected at 9:45 a.m.

The marathon winner and first marathon relay finishers will cross the finish line at approximately 10:45 a.m.

The finish line is especially exciting around noon when marathon runners are trying to finish before the 4-hour mark.

Spectators can view the race finishes on the grass near Red Lion or at Hollywood Beach.

Access to the Red Lion viewing area can be reached by using the breezeway on the east side of the building.

There also are spots to view runners in the races:

■ Starting line at Agnew Fields: There is a free parking area on Gunn Road, just north of Barr Road.

No cars will be allowed on Barr Road after 7:15 a.m., and no parking is allowed on Old Olympic Highway.

■ Robin Hill Park: Only the marathon can be viewed here.

From the marathon start, go east on Old Olympic Highway. Turn right onto Vautier Road and then turn right onto Pinnell Road. Park at Robin Hill Park.

■ Deer Park Overlook: Runners have made the final climb, and the path is downhill and along the water for the final 6 miles.

Take Old Olympic Highway west for 4.5 miles. Turn right onto Highway 101, travel 2 miles west and take the Deer Park Overlook rest area exit.

This area is highly congested, so spectators are asked to use caution.

Francis Street Park: This spot is less than a mile from the finish line, so there isn’t time to view specific runners here and then catch them at the finish line.

As you enter Port Angeles, U.S. Highway 101 becomes Front Street. Follow Front Street past Race Street and turn right onto Francis Street.

Finishers festival

Family and friends are invited to join runners at City Pier pavilion after the race for food, music, massages and awards.

Live music will be provided by Joy in Mudville.
