PORT ANGELES — Books will be paired with wine in an upcoming program co-hosted by the North Olympic Library System and Harbinger Winery.
The book sampling and wine tasting will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the winery at 2358 U.S. Highway 101 in west Port Angeles.
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required.
During the event, participants will move from table to table. At each of the six tables, they can sample one book and one of Harbinger’s artisan Northwest wines.
Each of the books — which range from classics to sci-fi to literary fiction — has been paired with a wine.
The books are “matched in tone and intensity to red, white and rose wines,” according to a library news release.
A valid photo ID must be presented upon entry.
