THERE ARE IMPORTANT primary elections in Port Townsend, Sequim, Port Angeles and some fire districts that cover unincorporated areas.
For example, two seats on the Port Townsend City Council, primary elections for commissioner in the ports of Port Angeles and Port Townsend, and a three-person race for a Port Angeles School District board seat.
And that’s where the Peninsula Daily News’ Primary Election Voter Guide comes in.
The 16-page guide features candidates’ profiles and responses to questions in a Q&A format. There’s also an article on the library bond issue in Port Townsend.
The Voter Guide is posted online on this website (click on the “flying eagle” button on the homepage; Adobe Flash is required)
A limited number of free printed copies are available at courthouses, city halls, senior centers and other public contact points in Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles. You can also pick up a copy at the PDN’s office at 305 W. First St. in downtown Port Angeles.
