BALLOTS FOR THE all-mail primary election were mailed out in Jefferson and Clallam counties on Wednesday, arriving in most registered voters’ mailboxes Thursday.
And just in time to help voters to decide will be the North Olympic Peninsula Primary Voter Guide 2014, distributed with the Friday-Saturday Peninsula Daily News.
As always, the Voter Guide is published as a public service of the Peninsula Daily News.
It contains useful information about the candidates in the “top two” primary, including biographical synopses, their answers to issue-oriented questions and their photographs.
An overview of the election’s only ballot measure on the North Olympic Peninsula — a proposed levy lid lift by Jefferson County Fire District No. 4 of Brinnon — also is included.
Look for the Primary Voter Guide with the Friday-Saturday PDN, on sale at nearly 200 locations in Clallam and Jefferson counties — then be sure to vote before the Aug. 5 deadline.
