PORT ANGELES — The resignation of Bertha Cooper, assistant administrator at Olympic Medical Center since 1998, was announced at Wednesday night’s meeting of hospital commissioners.
No reason was given for her resignation, which is effective Dec. 31.
Cooper did not address the commissioners following its approval of a resolution honoring her for work as assistant administrator of planning and development since May 31, 1998.
Board chairman Jorgen Quistgaard said Cooper will finalize many of the projects in which she’s involved through the first several months of 2005 and act as a special assistant to CEO Mike Glenn.
