PORT ANGELES — The first in a series of $12 million in remodeling projects at Olympic Medical Center is expected to begin this year.
The medical center’s board of commissioners is beginning to prioritize the list of remodeling projects presented by the administrative staff during a meeting with commissioners last week.
The list of projects planned over the next five to 10 years includes remodeling of the obstetrics, dietary, cardiac, radiology, laundry and short stay units, according to Rhonda LoPresti, public relations director.
Eventually, LoPresti said, all administrative and support services will be moved away from the hospital’s first floor.
