Olympic National Park officials are challenging children to get high on life rather than drugs.
The park, area school districts and law enforcement agencies are working together to show fifth-grade students how to build self-esteem and make good decisions through the “Alternatives” program offered at Hurricane Ridge.
Sequim students previously participated in the program. And park and law enforcement officials are currently working with other Peninsula school districts for future “Alternatives” field trips.
