PORT ANGELES — Employees of Fountain Square Jewelers were checking the store’s inventory on Sunday to see if anything was stolen after its display window was broken Saturday night.
Ryan P. Kardonsky, 23, Port Angeles, was booked him into Clallam County jail on investigation of one charge of second degree malicious mischief, Port Angeles Cpl. Kevin Miller.
Later that charge was amended to first degree malicious mischief and charges of second degree burglary and second degree theft.
Officers found the vandalism after an alarm went off at the store at 101 W. First St., about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.
If employees find anything missing, additional charges could be filed, Miller said.
