Outdoor concerts schedule for this week in PA, PT and Sequim

This week’s schedule of free outdoor music on the North Olympic Peninsula:

SEQUIM — Tuesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Cascada (gypsy jazz).

Sequim’s Music in the Park series is every Tuesday through Aug. 27 at the outdoor James Center amphitheater in the Sequim Water Reuse Park, 563 N. Rhodefer Road, just north of Carrie Blake Park.

Don’t forget to bring your own seating to the grassy expanse.

Next Concert in the Park: Soul Ducks (rockabilly and blues), July 30.

PORT ANGELES — Wednesday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Cody Rentas Band (rock ‘n’ roll).

The Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce’s concert series is every Wednesday night through Sept. 4 at City Pier.

City Pier is a no-smoking, no-skateboards, alcohol-free venue. Some chairs are available for the disabled and early arrivals.

Next Concert on the Pier: Witherow (folk and rock), July 31.

“Bubble Man” — Greg Bondy, who provides entertainment for kids at Concert on the Pier with chalk for pavement drawing and a bubble-making machine — is running low on supplies and would appreciate donations.

Boxes of colored “sidewalk chalk” and bottles of bubble-making “super soap” can be brought to the concerts or dropped off for him at Hartnagel Building Supply, 3111 E. U.S. Highway 101, Port Angeles.

PORT TOWNSEND — Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Locust Street Taxi (“infectiously fun and energetic” original music).

The Port Townsend Main Street Concert on the Dock series is every Thursday through Aug. 29 at the Pope Marine Plaza on the downtown waterfront.

Bring chairs or a blanket. There is a wine, beer and cider garden.

Next Concert on the Dock: Buck Ellard with The Humbuckers (county), Aug. 1.

SEQUIM — Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Scott Sullivan (indie-rock).

The Summertime Music Outdoors series is every Friday night through Aug. 23 behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., using bleachers and an outdoor stage funded by the Friends of Sequim Library.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for additional seating.

Next Summertime concert: Olympic Express Big Band (big-band swing, standards, Dixieland), Aug. 2.
