SEQUIM — The City of Sequim is seeking participants connected to businesses that support the local tourist industry for a People of Sequim project.
The deadline for volunteering is Wednesday.
City representatives aim to develop profiles for digital marketing and social media to showcase unique experiences Sequim has to offer. The project is planned to run beginning in June and ending in September.
“Regrettably, we will not be able to use everyone’s profile but may choose to extend the program based on interest,” city representatives said last week.
Participants must be willing to submit to short interviews, have their photos taken and sign release forms.
Photos may be used in the City of Sequim’s electronic publications, websites and on social media channels.
