SEQUIM — Work crews from Interwest Construction and Agate Asphalt will begin paving work on the North Sequim Avenue sidewalk and bike lane project from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
The work will begin at the roundabout at Sequim Avenue, Old Olympic Highway and Port Williams Road, which will be closed to through traffic during the paving.
A detour route will be in place, but there will be access for residential and emergency vehicles.
Drivers are encouraged to heed flaggers, cones and construction signage and also to be aware of construction equipment.
Paving work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
