Law enforcement agencies across the Olympic Peninsula are investigating a string of business burglaries in three communities that may be connected.
Four break-ins occurred the night of Friday, Aug. 29, or early the next morning in Port Townsend.
Around that same time, four businesses were hit in Sequim.
Most recently, six Port Angeles businesses were entered between midnight and 5 a.m. Thursday.
Port Townsend Police Assistant Chief Conner Daily said Friday that the department is beginning to look into if the burglaries are connected.
“We’re working in that direction,” he said. “There are some similarities between those two (in Port Angeles and Sequim) and ours.”
