Peninsula College graduation set for Saturday

Diplomas will be presented to more than 350 Peninsula College students during a commencement ceremony on the college’s main campus in Port Angeles on Saturday.

The 40th annual ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

“It is an opportunity to celebrate our student successes and the great work that our faculty does in working with students.”

Keegan will deliver a welcome address during the ceremony.

“I am very much looking forward to my first commencement exercise as president of Peninsula College,” he said.

Commencement will begin with Associated Student Council members Vincent Masocol and Jennifer Ross leading the processional.

Other portions of the ceremony include a speech entitled “Community Service” by John Brewer, editor and publisher of the Peninsula Daily News.
