PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College officials have established a new partnership which will allow two baccalaureate degrees to be offered on campus.
The partnership between Peninsula College and Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment will allow for the four-year degrees to be offered starting this fall.
Bachelor’s degrees in environmental policy and environmental science will be offered to Peninsula College students through the partnership.
Through the years, the college has formed a number of partnerships to offer baccalaureate degrees, said Peninsula College President Thomas Keegan.
“I think it is so important that Peninsula College works to offer residents opportunities so they do not have to leave the Peninsula to acquire baccalaureate degrees,” Keegan said.
