Filing for the fall elections begins at 8 a.m. Monday in the auditor’s offices of the Clallam and Jefferson county courthouses.
While this is an “off” year, meaning there are no state or federal positions on the ballot, plenty of local politicians — from City Council members to the cemetery board — will try to convince voters to give them a chance.
Filing closes on Friday.
The Peninsula Daily News in Monday’s edition will rerun the list of all the offices up for election. The list was originally published in the PDN on July 8.
