The results of four school districts’ maintenance and operations levy elections on the North Olympic Peninsula remained unchanged Friday as election officials certified their approvals.
The Quilcene, Chimacum, Sequim and Cape Flattery school districts all convinced more than 60 percent of voters to support their levies.
Under state law, levies can only be approved by the support of more than 60 percent of voters.
Here are the final results of the Feb. 5 elections, as presented by elections officials in Clallam and Jefferson counties:
Cape Flattery
Voters approved a four-year, $1.4 million levy.
Total ballots: 513.
Yes: 389 (75.8 percent).
No: 124 (24.2 percent).
Chimacum
Voters approved a two-year, $3.65 million levy.
Total ballots: 3,795.
Yes: 2,725 (71.8 percent).
No: 1,070 (28.2 percent).
Quilcene
Voters approved a two-year, $480,000 levy.
Total ballots: 620.
Yes: 420 (67.7 percent).
No: 200 (32.3 percent).
Sequim
Voters approved a two-year, $4.6 million levy.
Total ballots: 11,462.
Yes: 7443 (64.9 percent).
No: 4019 (35.1 percent).
