Polls throughout Jefferson County are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today as four school districts ask voters to approve levies.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked by today, or hand-delivered at the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office by 8 p.m. at the courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Voters in the Port Townsend School District will vote on a three-year, $6.9 million levy. Chimacum School District voters are being asked for a two-year, $3.65 million levy. The Quilcene School District is seeking a four-year, $1.5 million levy.
Gardiner residents are voting on a $5.4 million levy for the Sequim School District. Sequim: All-mail balloting for school levy ends today
In Clallam County, ballots will be accepted until 8 p.m. today from voters in the Sequim School District.
Mailed ballots, which were distributed in mid-January to registered voters in the school district, must be postmarked by today. Or they can be hand-delivered to the drop box at the Sequim licensing office, 1001 E. Washington St., or Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
The Clallam Auditor’s Office will begin handing out election returns to interested parties at the courthouse starting shortly after 8 p.m. tonight.
