Gasoline prices are beginning to drop across the North Olympic Peninsula, fulfilling predictions of a decline once the Labor Day weekend was over.
A few stations tickled the $2 a gallon mark for regular unleaded right before the Labor Day holiday and prices started to edge down slightly at the end of last week.
All of the North Olympic Peninsula stations surveyed Wednesday morning showed regular unleaded prices had all dropped below the $2 a gallon mark.
Station owners report customers are obviously happy about the decline, but wondering if the prices will get back to the levels they were at before the huge spike.
