PORT ANGELES — Sen. Patty Murray says she’s impressed by Jerry Lamb’s magnetic-levitation transportation system called LEVX.
She and her staffers will help him “work through the process” of obtaining federal research funding, Murray said.
But she also warned that those funds are scarce.
“It’s certainly an innovative technology — there’s a lot of work to be done before it becomes viable,” Murray. D-Shoreline, said in an interview following a brief tour Tuesday of Lamb’s research and development company, Magna Force Inc., near William Fairchild International Airport.
“It looks exciting, and if it is done right, it could be a really beneficial technology.”
